Effect: Overdrive

This is the NEW MINI '71 Colordriver, 2/3 the size of the Vintage pedal series we make but STILL the great Tru-Fi shaped enclosure.

It has more modern features which include JACKS on top for a more PBF Pedal Board Friendly design.

The '71 is VERY similiar to the '69 if anything the '71 is a tinge more nasty on full gain, a bit more Fuzz. But GREAT for 1/3 gain boosting.

The '71 is designed after the The Colorsound Overdriver was introduced in 1971 by Sola Sound, a British company known for its effects pedals. Sola Sound was founded by Gary Hurst, who had previously designed the Tone Bender, another influential fuzz pedal. BUT NOW our new pedal has a switch for 18V AND 9V so now you can have a choice of either power setting !  The Overdriver was designed to be a clean, high-headroom booster. It was created to push the front end of guitar amplifiers, providing a natural overdrive and enhancing the overall tone. The pedal featured a simple design with Volume, Tone, and Sustain (gain) controls.

The '71 Colordriver has the same BC184 transistors, design, just in a smaller package !
